Obituary of René Joseph Conrad Quesnel
Quesnel, René:
Passed away at the age of 72.
Born in Sudbury, René was the son of the late Anne Marie «Fern» (nee Pelland) and William Quesnel.
Beloved husband of Lois Hunter-Quesnel.
Loving father to Matthew Adomaitis (Amber) of Toronto and Chadwick Hunter (Sara) of London.
Grandfather to Addison & Avery and Salena, Mitchell, Kiera, and Max.
Remembered by his brother Ron Quesnel (Denise) of Brampton and predeceased by his sisters Gaeton Grand Maison (Marcel) and Jeanne Hewlette (Rex).
Dear brother-in-law to Ron Hunter (Mary Jane) and Brent Hunter (Linda).
Missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
René will be dearly missed by his good friend and fishing partner Henry.
He will be greatly missed by his fellow campers at Hickory Grove Campground, where he was a member for 20 years.
René never missed a morning coffee with Henry and Brenda, rain or shine. René was loved by every person he met. He was a big guy with a huge heart. René fought until the very end and will be dearly missed by his loving family.
A Memorial Service for René will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2:00pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Private Family Interment to take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date.
Donations made in memory of René may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
