Phyllis Marie Thibault (Snook)
Born May 6,1928 Died October 17,2019 at the age of 91.
Phyllis lived in the Wishart/Punnichy area for most of her life, where she grew up and raised her family. In 2012 Phyllis moved to Saskatoon after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. For seven years her cousin Lois and Phyllis continued their great fun of playing cards and visiting each other.
Phyllis will be greatly missed by her daughter Yvonne (Clint), son Brian (Gail), Grandchildren Shauna (Trevor), Cory (Simone) and Ashley, Great Grandaughters Anna, Poppy, Charlie and Casey, Cousin Lois and many Nieces and Nephews. Phyllis predeceased by her husband Almer, brother & sister-in-law Calvin and Kay Snook, bother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Lucy Snook, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ken and Bernice Gotto and nephew Merton Snook.
Phyllis worked in the Punnichy Post Office for many years as well as she was an avid volunteer at many events in town. She was known and liked by the kids in town because she was the lady with the light at the bottom of the big hill.
A Celebration of Life for Phyllis will be held Saturday October 26,2019 at the Wishart Legion Hall, a light lunch to follow
Private family internment at the Stone Church.
Memorial donations may be made in Phyllis’s memory to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
