Peter Van Hoof
Van Hoof, Ralph (Peter):
Passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Grand River Hospital – Freeport at the age of 73. He was born February 20, 1946, in Germany and grew up in Rupelmonde, Belgium. He and his family made their way to Montreal when he was at the age of 11. Peter wanted to explore North America, so at the age of 18 he began to travel throughout the country and discovered many places, some well known and some not so well known. He loved the West and spent many years there. Peter traveled into the US and after some time relocated back to Canada. Peter loved music, especially the down to earth, no gimmicks, stuff. He was known to partake and enjoyed a few beverages from time to time. Peter, you’ll be missed, brother.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
