Patricia Louise Rockel (nee Toope) RN, MA Ed. December 7,
1941 – October 8, 2019
Left this life peacefully at the Placentia Health Centre on
October 8th 2019 in the presence of her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents George and Violet Toope and
her sister Enid.
A woman of strong character
and strong opinions and a love of plants and animals, she will be
greatly missed by her husband Anthony and by her daughter Sherri and
son in law Sean, her son Glenn and daughter in law Jo-Anne, and her
grandchildren Anthony, Curtis, Laura, Emily and Anna.
Patricia was a dedicated nurse and a talented homemaker
with a flair for decoration and gardening, which she had to forgo when
her health began to fail.
Special thanks to
Dr Power and to the truly wonderful nurses and staff at the Placentia
Health Centre, also grateful thanks to Rev. Sylvia Hodder for her
visitation during Patricia’s last illness.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s
Funeral Home, Placentia. Private ceremony.
Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Dunville.
Donations to the lung association gladly accepted.
