Nova Kathryn Evans
With sadness, we announce the passing of Nova on Sunday, July 21, 2019 in her 94th year. She is now reunited with her one and only love William C. Evans. Born in Oxford County on December 5, 1925, Nova grew up in Woodstock, ON. She is predeceased by her siblings Anna Snowden (Bill), Alex Forbes (Julie), and Colin Forbes (Bernice). Nova will be forever loved by her children Cathy, Karen (Paul Leatherbarrow) and Eric (Margot) and grandchildren Aaron (Margarita), Beau, Nate (Anissa) Jeff (Liz), Eric (Ashley), John and Kate (Elio) and great-grandchildren Alison, Rebecca, Lincoln, Aubrey, Harrison, Clinton and Ethan as well as her extended family and friends.
Nova was honoured by the Anglican Diocese with the Order of Niagara for her efforts with the Diocese and her home parish of Christ Church Nanticoke, as well as Life Member of Ontario Hospital Auxiliary Association with West Haldimand General Hospital.
Deepest gratitude for the wonderful care that Nova enjoyed at West Haldimand General Hospital.
Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service for Nova will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 65 Talbot Street East, Jarvis on Wednesday, July 24 at 11 am. Interment Christ Church (Anglican) Cemetery, Nanticoke.
