Marjorie McNair
1925-2019
Marjorie McNair, 94, of McNair Manor
passed away on October 12, 2019. Born in Portage Vale, she
was the daughter of the late Heber and Madge (Goddard) Dunfield.
Marjorie was the last surviving member of her
family.
Marjorie was a homemaker taking great
pleasure in caring for her family. She was a great cook,
avid knitter and had the ability of making any house into a home.
Marjorie was a member of the Parkside Baptist Church and enjoyed being
part of the Lois Winters Missionary Group.
Marjorie will be sadly missed by
daughters Sharon MacDonald, Moncton, Judy Steeves (Dale), Rothesay,
Marlene Galbraith (Allan), Selwyn, On., Cathy George (Jeff),
Bridgewater, NS., 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, several
nieces and nephews and special friend Barb Campbell.
We are rejoicing that she is pain
free, clear minded and that we will see her again one
day.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her loving husband Walter, twin daughters, siblings
Walter, Marguerite, Mary, Dorothy, George, and son in law
Payson.
The family would like express their
appreciation for the love and care Mum received from the caregivers
and staff at McNair Manor.
Visitation will be at Parkside Baptist
Church, 871 Mountain Road, on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 10:00
to 11:00 am, followed immediately by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am,
with Grandson, Bruce Steeves, Son in Law, Jeff George and Rev. Mitch
Whittington officiating. Reception following the service.
Private family interment at Elmwood
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be
made in Marjorie’s memory to the charity of your choice.
