It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and nonni, with family by her side, at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus on October 19, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Donato for 57 years. Loving mother of Elisa (Domenic), Lucy (Dennis), Donna (Jeff) and Donato (Eliana). Cherished nonni of Mari-El, Nicholas, Sophia, Valentina, Alia, Luca and Olivia. Survived by her brother Cesare (Elena) Di Pietro. Predeceased by siblings Antonio (Assunta), Carmelo, Sebastiano (Francesca), Vittorio (Inesia), Anna (Eugenio Pocobene) and Nazareno Di Pietro. Dear zia to many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Visiting on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019 family and friends are invited to gather directly at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe St., after 10:00 a.m. for a Mass in Celebration of Maria’s Life beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery for entombment to follow.
