MARGARET (DOW) MILLER
Margaret Miller, 91, of Mitchell and formerly of Staffa passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 14, 2019.
Beloved wife of the late Russell Miller (2015). Loving mother of Lee Lyle (Jim) of St. Thomas, Teresa Miller, Gordon Miller (Michele Decman) and Mark Miller, all of London. Proud grandmother of Tracey Lyle (Maclean Gordon) and Mikayla Decman. Dear sister-in-law of Mary F. Dow, Betty Dow and John Miller. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Annie Dow, brothers Elmer Dow, Mervin Dow and Roger Dow, sisters Velma Doupe (Lorne), Gladys Allen (Joe) and Wilma Butson (Jack) and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Dorothy Duncan (Ken), Jean Duncan (Jack), Ken Miller, Jim Miller (Dorothy) and Joyce Miller.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Congram officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Roy’s Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ritz Lutheran Villa (Landscaping) would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
