Obituary of Louise Gaslard
It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Mary GASLARD of Port Saunders, NL, passed away at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center in Port Saunders on Saturday, October 5, 2019; at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn her partner Clarence Ryan; children: Regina (Wayne), Dan (Pearl), Ruby (Dave), Vera, Bill (Louise), Chris (Paulette), Flora (Brent), Rose (Fred), Tony (Annie), Lorna (Norbert), Philip (Janet), Daphne (Ken), Ken (Julie), Felicity (Steve), Clary (Terri-Lee); son-in-law John; daughter-in-law Sonya; sisters: Rita Gould, Josie (Kaz), Helena (Bob), Stella (Harry), Gertie (Clayton), Jean (Dan), and Jenny; brother Anthony (Marie); sisters-in-law : Delores, Leah and Faye; grandchildren: Jason, Michael, Trevor, Tara, Tiffany, Damien, Aiden, Anna-Marie, Alicia, Alana, Chantal, Evan, Laura, Jason, Julia, Greg, Tyson, Philip, Ryan, Niki, Christopher, Dylan, Danielle, Tyler, Derek, Denver; and 26 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by husband Bill; parents William & Rachael Coles; sons Gerald & Neil; daughters Anna-Marie & Stella; granddaughter Shara; grandson Tyler; son-in-law Dorman; daughter-in-law Tanna; brothers: George, York & Nish; sister Francis; sister-in-law Loretta; brothers-in-law Jim & Hal. She had many other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. Visitation will take place at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Port Saunders on Monday 7:00- 9:00 PM; Tuesday 2:00- 4:00 PM with a family service at 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at the church at 2:00 PM with Father Raj officiating. Cremation to follow at Fillatre’s Crematorium in Pasadena. Interment will take place at The Interfaith Cemetery Sandy Cove at a later date. The family graciously accept flowers or donations In Memorium to St. Joseph’s Church Port Saunders. Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd, Port au Choix were entrusted with her care and arrangements.
