McCorkindale, Linda Marlow (Nee Jones)
~ Linda, in her 68th
year, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with
cancer on Friday, October 4, 2019. Loving wife of 48 years
to Bill. Loved mother of Armand and Todd (Jen Hargraves) of
Sudbury, and cherished grandma of Grace Agnes McCorkindale of

Linda was the daughter of the late Allen (2002) and Elsie
(2016) Jones. Dear sister of Bob (Meg) Jones of Barrie
(Bracebridge) and sister in-law of the late Nan (2003).
Linda will be fondly remembered by her brothers in-law and sisters
in-law, and her many nieces, nephews and their
families.
Linda was co-owner of King’s Stripping and
Refinishing since 1991 as well as past coordinator of the Guelph MS
Society Carnation Day, Past President of the Guelph Ladies Slo-Pitch
League and until recently, an executive member of the Guelph Glass
Guild.
Special thanks to her niece Janet Stevenson and to her sister
in-law Linda (Merkley) McCorkindale for their help over the past few
weeks. A very special and heartfelt thanks to Pam Milton for
her help, support and guidance over the last year.
At Linda’s request, cremation has taken place, and
a Celebration of Life will be held in her garden next
spring. Memorial contributions to the Grand River Hospital
