Lance Dean Lindberg
Lance Lindberg passed away on October 3, 2019, at the age of 60 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was at home, surrounded by his loving family who will miss him with all of their hearts.
Lance was born on October 13, 1958 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Phyliss Mackie and Douglas Lindberg. He was the oldest of three, his younger siblings Larry and Brenda. Lance met the love of his life, Wendy, in 1975, and spent the next 44 years building their lives and family completely devoted to her and their happiness. They were married in 1986, and had their first child, Bradly, 1987. In 1989 they welcomed their second child Kailin and finally in 1992 their baby, Melissa.
Lance spent the following years working tirelessly so he could build a home for his family, a place where they would always be welcome filled with love, laughter and lasting memories.
In 2008, Lance welcomed his first grandson, Kaeden, to this world and proved to be the most patient, kind and loving grandpa a child could ask for. In 2015, Walker and Clover came into his life and finally in 2019, Kahli.
Lance’s greatest accomplishment was the family that he had built, the home they lived in, and the love that they shared.
There will always be a place in our hearts where he lives with his dry humor, quick wit and stubbornness.
Lance was preceded in passing by his father Douglas. Lance is survived by his loving wife, Wendy, his three children Brad, Kailin (Curtis), Melissa (Robin), his mother Phyliss, his stepfather Walter, his brother Larry, his sisters Brenda, Diana and Laura, and his four grandchildren.
The song has ended, but the melody still lingers on.
A public memorial service will be held at the Snodgrass Funeral Home in High River, AB on Saturday October 12, 2019 at 2:00pm.
