Karen’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing, of our beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, on October 17, 2019, Karen Theresa Ryan, aged 54 years. Predeceased by her parents James & Margaret Ryan, brother James Power, mother-in-law Barbara Offspring and brother-in-law Bob Offspring. She leaves to mourn with broken hearts and cherished memories her husband John Offspring, daughter Kimberly Offspring (Ryan); sisters: Anne Halleran (Gary), Barb Carew (Tom), Bernadette Tucker (Les), Sharon Linehan (Pat), Kim Finlay (Sean), Darlene White (Neil); brothers: Paul (Betty-Ann), Gerry (Sherry), Tony (Judy), sister-in-law Donna, brother-in-law Leo, a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially former employer Janet Kelly, best friend Jacquie Corcoran and caregiver Yvonne Burton. The Family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Maroun and Dr. Englebrecht and their staff for the care they have provided. Karen was a strong and caring woman who will be greatly missed by all those who have had the privilege of knowing her. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Saturday, October 19, from 6 – 7pm (Family Only); 7 – 9pm and Sunday, October 20, 12 – 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 21, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow.
