Unexpectedly at Canal NB on October 12, 2014, Mr. Jason Cameron Eugene
Cooke of Canal NB. Born at Saint John NB on October 12, 1984, he was
the son of Mrs. Patricia (Wright) Perry. In addition to his loving
mom, Patricia and step-dad, Fraser Perry, Jason is survived by his
three sons, William, Carter and Ethan; two sisters: Valerie (Kris)
Wright and Melanie Cooke both of Canal NB; one sister in love: Sue
Paul of Beaver Harbour NB; one half brother: Trevor (Kathy) Cooke of
Pennfield NB; two half sisters: Danah (Colin) Barrett of Beaver
Harbour NB and Dionne (Jamie) Comeau of Alberta; nieces and nephews:
Garrett & Korrie Wright, Taylor & Dylan Cooke, Morgan Barrett
and Colbie & Kristie Comeau; the mother of his children: Diandra
Johnson of Pennfield NB and one uncle, several aunts, cousins and
countless friends.
Jason had recently been employed with the Department of Transportation
on the St. George Bridge Crew. Everyone who had the pleasure of
meeting and knowing Jason instantly fell in love with him. He had an
easy going, gentle way about him and will always be remembered for his
kind and generous soul. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing
the guitar but the most important thing in his life were his sons who
were the center of his universe. Jason will be sadly missed by many
and never forgotten by his many friends and loving family.
Rested at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage Street,
St. George NB. The Funeral Service took place from the funeral home
chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Victor
Chant officiating. In Jason’s memory, donations to an account which
has been set up for his three sons at Scotiabank, St. George would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
