It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Gerald Norman Moore on October 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Saint John on November 25, 1942, the son of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Bulloch) Moore.
Survived by his loving wife Laurette Wilson, son Tony (Julie), Daughters Pam Defazio (Randy) and Michelle Chandler (Blaine), his brother James Moore (Carol), sister-in-law Dorothy Moore, Grandchildren Jonathan (Sarah), Jaret (Chelsea), Jeffry, Olivia, and William, Great-grandchildren Laya, Sadie, and Jack, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brother John, sister Joan Cooke, and sister-in-law June Moore.
Jerry was employed for many years with the Port of Saint John, then moved on to the auto industry. After retirement Jerry owned and operated The Digby Camp Ground for 15 years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Bobby’s Hospice for their compassion, care and support.
Visitation at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), on Monday October 14, from 4-8 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11am on October 15. With a private family interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances made to Bobby’s Hospice or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
