Fay passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, August 16, 2019. Born in Saint-Simon, New Brunswick, on December 29, 1928, Fay Albert of Seaforth, formerly of St. Columban, was in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Bill Albert (April 27, 2018). Fay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda Albert (Bruce Mickelson), Anne Albert, Denise (Paul) Duffy and Joanne (Martin) Minnis. Cherished grandma of Karmin Poirier, Robert (Lucy) Poirier, Megan Duffy, Aaron Minnis and Dana Minnis. Fay will also be fondly remembered by her siblings, Albertine Mallet, Marie Lanteigne, Brigitte Chiasson and May Valdron.
Predeceased by her husband Bill, parents Aime and Josephine Lanteigne, and her siblings Pauline, Estelle, Gerard and Roselda.
Visitation will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth, on Thursday, August 22nd from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. James Catholic Cemetery followed by a reception at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the funeral home.
