HALLS Edward Robert
September 16, 1928 – October 20, 2019
With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Robert age 91, at the Juravinski Hospital after a short illness.
Loved father of Wendy (Mark), Robin and Terrie (John). Loving grandfather of Dane, Shelby, Adam (Erin), Olivia and Emily. Special “GG” to Myah and Grayson. Predeceased by his dear wife Sharon (2016), mother Olive, father Edward, sisters Joan and Bev.
Uncle to many nieces, nephews and their families.
Robert had a long career in the printing industry both in Hamilton and Toronto before retiring almost 30 years ago. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Grimsby Benevolent Fund where he enjoyed the companionship of his fellow volunteers. Robert was also an avid lawn bowler and 5 pin bowler along with his brother-in-law Jack. He enjoyed watching sports and gardening. Robert was always on the lookout for bargain metal artwork to adorn his back fence and he amassed quite a collection filling almost his entire back fence with his finds. Family get togethers were important to him and he was fortunate enough to enjoy a last Thanksgiving dinner with his entire family present. Robert will be missed by family and friends as well as his feline companions Holly and Hannah.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday November 17, 2019 from 1-4pm at the St. Andrews Church Hall (7 St. Andrews Ave. Grimsby). Donations to the Grimsby Benevolent Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
