It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Marcel Roth at the age of 60. David was born on June 19th, 1959 and died at home peacefully on October 18th, 2019 in the loving embrace of his wife and with his beloved dog Diesel by his side. David was born in Kitchener to Keith and Florence (Joly) and was the 3rd of 4 children. David’s passions were his wife and family, woodworking, photography and his motorcycle. David spent many weekends riding his motorcycle through the winding country roads of Halton Hills. He lived most of his life in Kitchener until meeting his love 6.5 years ago and moving to those same country roads. David is survived by his adoring wife Susan, his mother Florence, his brother Brian (Christine), his sister Sherry Hackett (David), his nephew Jesse Hackett, and niece Tasha Roth. He will be deeply missed by his extended family in Temiscaming, his lifelong friends in Kitchener as well as his friends and colleagues at Protiviti. All who knew David will forever remember that smile and his kind and gentle spirit. David is resting at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at Christ Church Flamborough, 92 Hamilton Regional Road 8, Dundas Ontario, on Wednesday November 6th, 2019 at 1pm. A reception will follow on the Church grounds. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the nurses, doctors and PSW’s for their attentiveness and gentle care. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society (1-888-939-3333) would be appreciated.
