Passed away at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Monday, October 28, 2019 in his 57th year. Taras Ciurpita of Orr Lake, much loved husband of Penny (nee Whetham). Beloved son of the late Bohdan and Helen Ciurpita. Cherished brother of Mary Ann (the late Peter) Sebastian, Leshia (Pat) Maughan and Olia Ciurpita. Will be missed by his nieces Ashly (Robert) O’Sullivan and Kelly Maughan (Rob Martin) and his great nieces, Elizabeth and Alice O’Sullivan. Fondly remembered by his in-laws, Irene Whetham, Melanie Whetham (Brian Adams) and Angela Whetham (Eric Brown).
Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale, on Friday, November 1st from 4 to 5:30 pm and 7:30 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 until time of the service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Elmvale Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Toronto Western Hospital Foundation or Ontario Federation of Hunters and Anglers would be appreciated by the family.
