Charles Doire
Doire, Charles-Henri – In loving memory of Mr Charles Doire who passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Hospital on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at the age of 78 with his family at his side.
Mr. Doire was born at St-Eugène-de Guigues on July 27, 1941 and is the son of the late Henri Doire and the late Bernadette Sévigny. A resident of North Cobalt for many years, Mr. Doire was a hard worker and spent most of his life working in the mines. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a faithful Catholic at his parish of Holy Cross Church and is a member of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus, Fatima Council # 1398 of Haileybury
M. Doire was predeceased by his grandparents Odilon and Marie Doire, his parents; his son Marc Doire and his brothers and sisters Claudette (late Yvon) Bédard, André Doire, Alcide Doire, Joseph Doire, Marie-Ange (late Jean Claude) Bérubé, and Diane Baril. He is survived by his wife Fleurette (née Genereux) whom he married July 16 1964; by his son Claude ( Ellen) Doire and by his daughter Annie Doire (Steve Trachy). Loving grandfather to Dominique, Shani, Nelson, Samuel, Chelsea, Francis; great grandfather of Abby and Alissa and beloved brother of Marguerite (spouse George) Yanik.
The Doire family will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Friday October 4, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and again on Saturday October 05, 2019 from 9:30 until 10:30am. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St-Croix Catholic Church, Haileybury, on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 11:00 am with Father Ghyslain Ndondji officiating. Contributions to the Haileybury Food Bank will be appreciated.
