Obituary of Catherine Cora Harris
It is with heavy hearts, and appreciation for a lifetime of memories, that the family of Catherine “Kay” Harris announce her passing which occurred peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cap-Pelé on February 10, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ruby (Brien) Bourque.
Kay will be missed by her family; her sister Anne Smallwood (Robert), brother-in-law Aldric LeBlanc, sister-in-law Rena Harris, special niece and husband, Debbie & Randy Jefferson; nieces and nephews Elaine Hoyt (Brent), Holly McLeod (Adam), Donnie LeBlanc (Lynda), Marc LeBlanc (Lorraine), Peter LeBlanc (Lynette), Frank Harris (Marie), Billy Harris, Elizabeth Lim (Larry) and Mary Lou Lucking (Bob) along with many great nieces, great nephews and members of her extended family.
Besides her parents, Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Darrell Joseph Harris and her sister Louise LeBlanc
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) where family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 12 pm – 2 pm in Brenan’s Bay View Chapel with a Funeral Liturgy to follow at 2:00 pm.
