1925 -2019
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Annie D. Kennedy, 94 years at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital. She leaves to mourn her 10 children: Shirley Stone (Roy), Robert Kennedy (Elsie), Mary Robertson (Danny), Irene Snow (Richard), Barbara Tallick (Charlie), Ina Bennett, Gerald Kennedy, Allan Kennedy (Annette), Terry Kennedy (Cindy), Alex Kennedy (Brada), a very large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister Emma Rowsell, as well numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Leo Kennedy, January 16, 2010, sisters Marie Penney, Irene Bennett, Nellie Rose; brothers Elmo Loder, Bill Loder; parents George & Lucy Hayden, step father Bob Loder and sons-in-law Tony Bennett & Mike Spontaneo, brothers-in-law George Rose, Bob Penney, John Bennett. Special thanks to staff of 3rd Floor at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Dr. Morrisey, Dr. Dunn for your excellent care and attention and home care worker Kayla for always going above and beyond. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Ave Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 12th at Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 am. with Father Jim Robertson officiating. In keeping with her wish’s cremation will take place after the funeral with burial at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
