Andrew Edwin “Ed” Sharp in his 84 th year, peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on
October 21 st in the love and presence of his family. Much loved husband of Mary
(MacKenzie) for 60 years. Loving father of Glenn and Joan (Guz) and Brian and Cindi
(Houston). Proud grandpa of Ben, Marissa, Owen and Lauren. Survived by many nieces
and nephews. A proud farmer all his life, he owned and operated Marbend Farm. Ed
served the community of Onondaga well as a volunteer firefighter for 27 years, with the
Onondaga United Church Board and with many farm organizations. He enjoyed his 30
years at the Brant Curling Club and his friendships there. Ed’s family send their heartfelt
gratitude to the staff of the 5 th , 8 th and 7 th floors of the Brantford General Hospital for
making a difficult journey as easy as possible. In lieu of flowers the family invites
donations to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation. Family and friends
will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on
Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the
funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 11am. www.tollfh.ca
