Obituary for
Walter Chun Watt Wong
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in his 89th year surrounded by family. Beloved husband to Tay May Hom for over 62 years. Loving father to Carol (Edward) and Gordon (Judy) and very proud grandfather to Sarah, Alexander, Howard and Michael. Walter was a hardworking family man who loved spending time with his beloved children and grandchildren. His was always kind, gentle, compassionate, and generous to people around him. The family wishes to thank the medical team at the Coronary Care Unit of the Ottawa Heart Institute for their tender care.
Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry (150 Woodroffe Avenue) on Thursday, September 19th from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 – 9 p.m and Friday, September 20th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. when the Funeral Service will start. Interment will follow at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Road).
