Thomson, Vera Mildred (nee Ross)
At Joseph Brant Hospital, on September 4th, Vera died peacefully, at the age of 90. Vera was born on August 3rd, 1929 in Hamilton. Beloved wife, for 69 years, of Allen Thomson. Vera was the much-loved mother of Patti Thomson (Al), Linda Thomson (Gary) and Jim Thomson (Laura) and adored grandmother of Eliza (Donald), Kate (Stew), Aaron (Kristan), Robyn (Dave), Danielle (Anthony) and Lauren (Chase). In her life Vera was a good friend to many and was warm and kind to those who were not yet her friends. She was grateful for the love she received from her family and her friends. She loved fiercely and found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
On Tuesday September 10th 2019, at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, the family will hold a visitation from 2 p.m., until the time of Memorial Service at 3 p.m., followed by a reception.
The family would like to extend their deep appreciation for the care Vera received from the whole Palliative Care team at Joseph Brant Hospital.
