It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Porter annoucne his passing on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 62 years, Betty; four sons: Glen (Christine), Bryan (Moira), Rick and Darrell (Chantel); 14 grandchildren: Lindsay, Taryn, Logan, Cole, Alexandra, Thomas, Paul, Michael, Richard, Jennifer, Bryan, Taylor, Carter and Jeffrey; many great grandchildren; sister, Judy Porter-Ryan (Dennis deceased); brothers, Floyd (Ada) and Clyde (Nell); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Lily Porter, sister Betty and brothers Jack and Bob. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday, September 26th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. There will be no formal service. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many Nurses on 3A at Western Memorial Hospital, your compassion and kindness toward our Dad did not go unnoticed, Thank you. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
