Obituary of Sjenkus Amelius Van Soelen
Quietly, surrounded by loving family, Sjenkus passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Owen Sound General Hospital. He leaves behind his loving partner Corry. Dear brother to Audrey (late Aldon), Sam (Susan), Seeko (Dianna), Frederika (late Sid), John (Wilma), late Gus (Jane), and Bill (Nancy). He is survived by Jim and Peter Kotsovolos and their families, as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Ballard Minor Funeral Home, 315 Broad Street East, Dunnville on Tuesday, October 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Grace Reformed Church, 514 George Street, Dunnville, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ballardminorfh.ca
