Truchon, Simone (nee Buckner)
It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Simone Truchon at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on September 16, 2019 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Jean-Paul (Jack) Truchon. Loving mother of Suzanne Allen (Jack), Michael (Colette), Lorraine Forsyth (Chris) and Mark (Sonja). Cherished grandma of Stephanie Truchon-Gabbay, Alexander Truchon, Emily Forsyth Brooks, Max Truchon and great grandma to Isaac Gabbay. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Roseanna Buckner, her daughter Denise and by all of her siblings. We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Cowan, Dr. Jinnah and the caring and compassionate staff of the NBRHC, CCAC and PARAMED who cared for Mom. Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday September 22, 2019 from 2- 4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent-de-Paul on Monday September 23, 2019 at 11 am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
