Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late William (Berky) for fifty-six years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of JoAnn Bercovitch, Jeffrey and Susan Bercovitch. Cherished Grandma Shirlee of Leslie Wasserman and Kori Balaban, Jason Wasserman and Natasha Daniels; Stephanie Bercovitch, Jessica Bercovitch and Bradley Webber. Very proud “GG” of Lily Harper Wasserman. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Pat and Marion Schaffer; and by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nathan and Anita, Irving and Lottie Bercovitch, Goldie and Moe Slovsky. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 29 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Beth Aaron Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5611 Hartwell Ave., C.S.L. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva ends Sunday afternoon.
