Passed peacefully away on Thursday, September 26, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Scott James Cooze, age 53 years at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Charles and Mildred (Tiller) Cooze; stepson Brent Nichols.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories his partner of 11 years Sharon Sullivan; his son Christopher (Amy); sisters Fern (Bart) Moore and Debra Cooze (Rick Byrne); brothers Glen (Bernadette), Dean (Lori) and Deon (Lorri); stepson Austin Nichols; his favourite aunt Gen as well many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to his home caregiver Amanda Noseworthy, Nurse Practitioner Carmel Collins and staff at Palliative Care for their care and compassion and special thanks to Rev’d Emeline Coffin-Strickland.
Cremation has taken place. Scott will be resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Sunday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove. Inurnment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery.
