Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Stedman Community Hospice at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of the late Tamara Warren.
Loving father of Raymond, Linda Pender (Jim), Robert (Sarah) and the late Sharon.
Cherished grandfather of Kierstan, Carolyn, Mackenzie, Ethan, Natalie, Carly and Hayden.
Dear brother of Ted Warren (Marion).
Survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his former spouse Freida Warren and his siblings; Robert (Doris), Murray, Elaine and Grace.
Roy was a war veteran and an honourable father, seeking Christ’s heart.
Roy’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held at Benton St. Baptist Church, 90 Benton St., Kitchener, on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Gary McNitt officiating. Reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the service. Cremation to follow. Private interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
