Robert Fredrich Sakowsky
(February 17, 1935 – September 26, 2019)
Robert Fredrich Sakowsky of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the age of 84 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his step-children Patricia (Larry) Laschowski of Round Hill, Colleen McCorry (Terry Letwin) of Edmonton, George (Pat) McCorry of Edmonton, and Irene (Roger) Hansman of Camrose; daughter-in-law Kerry McCorry of Red Deer; son-in-law Bernie Gorniack of Tofield; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; brother Cecil (Sophie) Sakowsky of Edmonton; and sister Betty (Joe) Chimko of Edmonton.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Rose, parents Fred and Nancy, sister Phyllis, brothers Julian and Emil, step-daughter Helen Gorniack and step-son Fred McCorry.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Interment will take place in the Camrose Cemetery.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Robert’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital Unit 2 Palliative Care.
