Obituary of Robert Brian Burns
BURNS, Robert Brian – It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rob in his sleep, with family by his side on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the age of 60. Beloved husband and best friend of Cheryl, together for 20 years. Loving father of 3 fur babies, Cooper, Jasper and Marley. Dear brother of Cathy (the late Ken) Rice, Don (Judy) Burns, Laurie Albin, Chris Albin Jr. (Charlene Kay) and Marty Burns and brother in law of Steve Pacey. Cherished son of Chris Sr. and the late Vi Albin and son in law of Marion (the late Harold) Pacey. Rob was greatly loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.
Rob was a very kind and humourous man. He loved to joke around and tell jokes. Everyone loved to see him smile, especially because of his dimples. At parties, he was always the one to bring out the guitar and start to play and sing. Cremation entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home. A Celebration of Rob’s Life will be held at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, 1140 St. Pauls Street, Peterborough, Ontario on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
