Dartmouth
Age 73, passed away on September 10th with her loving family by her side, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
Born in New Glasgow and raised in Trenton, she was the daughter of the late Albert Dee and Sarah (Maclean) Dee.
Patricia worked at Toys R Us for 12 years. As a life member of the Legion and for over 20 years, she spent many hours at the Somme Legion Branch 31 helping on Fish and Chip Fridays, serving on committees, and as an avid dart player.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 55 years, Barry (John) Stone, sons Barry (Joanne), Halifax, Paul (Denise), Dartmouth; grandsons Josh and Brandon, and granddaughter Sara; sister in law Jean Dee and ‘adopted daughter’ Corinna McDow-Young.
Patricia was predeceased by her youngest son Michael, her brother Donald Dee and her parents.
Her remains have been entrusted to Dartmouth Funeral Home, Queen Street, Dartmouth. Visitation will take place Friday September 13th from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A celebration of life will take place at Somme Legion Branch 31, Kings Street, 1 – 4 pm Saturday September 14th. Burial, at Heatherdale Gardens, Pictou County, will take place at a later date.
