Poker playing, list making, photo taking, tricycle sailing, travel making, badminton playing (until age 74 with the »Geritol Jets»), gin and Ovaltine tasting, it’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nora McLellan at Sacre-Coeur palliative care center on August 6th surrounded by children Alex (Cathy McCrory), Louise (Dave Wells)and Rosemary (Harry Antonian). Mom will be sadly missed by grandchildren Bridget and Stephen, good friends Irene Cox, Joyce Hipson, Mary O’Toole as well as her many friends at the Wellesley retirement home but goes on to join husband John McLellan (pre-deceased in 1999 almost to the day) and good friend Viola Heaney (May of this year). Special thanks to the staff at the Sacre Coeur hospital for their exceptional care. Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday, Sept 21 at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fondation de l’hopital du Sacre-Coeur.
