Obituary of Minnie De Haan
Minnie De Haan passed away peacefully at QHC- Belleville General Hospital in the early hours of Saturday, September 7, 2019 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Nick De Haan Sr. Loving mother of June De Haan and her husband John Maamoun of Tweed; Frank and his wife Amy De Haan of Corbyville; and Nick Jr. and his wife Laurel of Belleville. Cherished “Beppe” of Nikki De Haan (Ryan) and Nicole (Ben) Mielke and great grandmother of Evelyn and Nathaniel. Minnie is also survived by her brother in-law Tom (Linda) De Haan. She is predeceased by four sisters and one brother. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West (613-968-2273). A Memorial Service will be held at Maranatha Church, 100 College St. West, on Friday, September 13th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Private inurnment at Belleville Cemetery . If desired, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
