Peacefully with her daughters by her side, Mary passed away into the arms of her Lord at Billings Court Manor, Burlington on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband William (2001). Loving mother of Barbara Donovan (late Doug 2008) and Marilyn Mehlenbacher (John Boniface). Beloved grandmother of Keith (Ronda), Craig (Andrea) and Cheryl. Doting great grandmother of Justin, Lindsay, Shane, Blake, Emily and Josiah. Mary had a beautiful singing voice, and shared her talent as a member of a few choral groups, and choir member for 35 years at Wellington Square United Church. A woman of many passions, she loved playing cards, curling with the Burlington Curling Club, and was an avid golfer. Noted for her infectious laugh and smile, she will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes, a private family interment will take place in Wellington Square Memorial Gardens, Burlington at a later date. Thank you to the staff of Billings Court Manor for their wonderful care and compassion. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Carpenter Hospice or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
