Mary’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary D. Jesso announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on September 26th, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn her three sons: Colombie (Carol) Jesso of St. John NB, Michael (Yvonne) Jesso of Lower Cove NL, Randy (Tracey) Jesso of St. John NB, Eight daughters: Laverna (Rodderick) Jesso of Lower Cove NL, Barbara (Edgar) Young of Calgary, Mona (Steve) Young of St. John NB, Marie (Wayne) Ogden of Piccadilly NL, Evelyn (Mario) Jesso of St. John NB, Anna (Ben) Brennan of St. John NB, Corina (Todd) Linton of St. John NB and Wanda Rowe of St. John NB. Also leaving behind with fond and loving memories her 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and her extended family & friends, especially her dearest card playing friend Josylen from across the street. We can’t forget her special furry four legged friend: Cuddles & Scruffy who came every day to visit Mary for their favourite treats. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Joseph Jesso, parents Henry & Mary Jesso, her two sons Ernie & LeRoy Jesso and their beautiful grandson Lee Jesso. There will be a gathering at Our Lady of Fatima in Piccadilly from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 with Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30th, 2019. Inurnment will take place at Lower Cove Cemetery following the service.
