WILSON, Marjorie Helen
Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday,
September 2, 2019 at age 83 years. Predeceased by her loving husband
Frederick Wilson. Dearly loved mother of Deborah Shirley, Karen
Blasdel (Phil), Tracy Siefert (Cal) and sister Ruth Baldwin (Bob).
Cherished Grandmother of Kristen (Boris), Jennifer (Josh), Courtney,
Steven, Jessica, Kevin, Matt, Kelsei and Arin. Great-grandmother of
Hennessey. Marjorie will also be sadly missed by her dear friend
Sophie Stuart and her beloved pet Bailey. Predeceased by her parents
Helen and Edward Strain, sister Janet Hauch and son David Wilson.
Marjorie was smart; an avid reader and a quick witted thinker, problem
solver, inventor and enjoyed intelligent discussions. Talented
seamstress, costume maker, baker, “Handy-woman” who could
fix anything; find novel uses for things and she was very creative
with Tips and Tricks for everyone. She worked for many years at
Cambridge Jewellers and Walter’s Jewellers. An animal lover
from a young age and also had a passion for baking. A “sweet
tooth” until the end; She never lost her “sweet
tooth”. Most of all, Marjorie just valued her family above
all things and will be forever missed in our hearts. As per her
wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service was held at
Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11
am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Humane
Society would be appreciated by the family.
