Marie Lyne Cox (nee Savard)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lyne Cox, peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on September 25, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by her husband Albert ‘Butch’. Dearly loved mother of Kimberly Duchesne and Melanie Boissonneault (Barbara). Cherished grandma of Brytnea Bell, Tyler, Madison, William, Nicholas Boissonneault (Erica) and 1 great grandchild Theodore Boissonneault. Dear sister of Jean Jacques Savard, Monique Champagne (Denis), Danielle Martel (Frank), Charles Savard (Lynn), Marquise Medal (Luis-predeceased), Pierre Savard (Nancy) and sister-in-law of Marlene Welch (Larry) and Ken Cox (Michele). Lyne will be sadly missed by her best friend Ellen Saunders, her furry canine companion Molly and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents; Edouard and Gertrude Savard, grandson Kurtis Bell and sister-in-law Debbie Loughran (Chris). As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. Interment will take place at Bonfield Cemetery. Donations to the MS Society would be gratefully appreciated by her family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Leckie and nurses Ashley and Sarah in the CCU at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion shown to our mom and family.
