Obituary of Marguerite Elizabeth Jordan
Marguerite Elizabeth Jordan, 90 of Gaspereau, passed away peacefully in the Valley Regional Hospital on September 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Harriette (Davidson) Harris.
Marguerite was first and foremost a loving wife and mother. She worked a number of years at R. W. DeWolfes and she was a faithful member of Mountain Christian Centre. Marguerite loved to fish and occasionally went hunting. She also enjoyed genealogy of family with all who came to visit.
She is survived by her daughter Jo-Ann (Laurie) Coldwell; son Darrell (Linda); grandchildren Petrina (Sean Gordon) Coldwell; Tiffany (Bradford) Berry; Talitha (Kenny) Blenkhorn; Dylan (Darian Smith); Brandon Murphy; great-grandchildren Keegan, Rylee, Zoey, Zakhariah, Zander, Zane, Wyatt and Aliyah; sisters Marjorie LeBlanc; Pauline Atwell; Gloria (Orin) Rafuse; brothers Harlen (Connie); David (Joanne); Hartley; sister-in-law Bertha Harris; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Raleigh; son Bradford; great-grandson Damon; brothers Lovett, Elwin, Waldo, Wesley Jr.; sister Hazel Corbett; sisters-in-law Nettie Harris and Marilyn Harris; and brother-in-law Ronald Corbett.
The family would like to thank everyone for their care and kindness, those that cared for Marguerite at home (VON). Also, for the doctors and Angels in Med “B” at VRH. And to all those that came to visit at home and hospital. God Bless you all.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm, both will be held in the Wolfville Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society and CNIB Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, B4P 1E5 (902-542-4656).
