Obituary
Marcelle Fritz passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the age of 97 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Lanny (Yvonne) Fritz, of Calgary, AB, Angie Fritz, of Calgary, AB, David Fritz (Barbara), of Toronto, ON, Rodney (Claudette) Fritz, of Winnipeg, MB, and Betty Ann Varga, of Calgary, AB; daughter-in-law Carole Fritz; grandchildren Holly, Matthew, Michelle, Jordan, Melanie, Nicole, Jonathan, Jesse, Adam, Ashlee (Corey) and Emilie; great grandchildren Kole, Crystal, Thomas, Oliver, Courtney and Bailley; great-great grandchild Finn; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Fritz and son Thomas Fritz.
Marcelle was born and raised on the homestead just outside of Fife Lake, SK. She met and married the love of her life there and they began their life together on a farm of their own a couple of miles away. After they decided to sell the farm in 1960, they spent a short time in Vancouver, BC and then made Calgary, AB their home, which has been her home ever since. Marcelle enjoyed crocheting, dancing and baking. She was also a woman of faith and was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
A Private Family Service will be held for Marcelle at a later date.
