Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, St. John’s on September 7, 2019, Lily Margaret Milley in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Donald, mother & father Tryphena and John Raymond, brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill (Eileen), Bob (Marjorie), Walter (Irene) and sister and brother-in-law Freda (Bill), brothers-in-law Bill Wiseman and Fred Martin, mother and father in law Meta & Elisha Milley, sisters-in-law Dorothy Marjorie Hurst & Lucy Clarke; daughter-in-law Kay Milley. Left with precious loving memories Daughter Donna (Bruce) Mactavish, son Mac; sister Kathleen Martin; grandchildren: Mary Milley (Jamie), Shawn Milley (Maisie), Ian Mactavish; great grandchildren: Kayden and Lilly; special friend Ralph Peddle, and a large circle of family and friends. Also the staff and friends at Hillcrest Estates, Mount Pearl. In keeping with Lily’s wishes no visiation by request. Funeral service will be held at St. Martin’s Anglican Cathedral, Gander on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Jim Beaton with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Martins Anglican Cathedral or the Autism Society.
