MACDOUGALL, Janet
With great sadness the family of Janet MacDougall announce her passing on September 6th, 2019 at the age of 92. She graduated as a registered nurse from the Royal Alex Hospital. Janet used her skills working in the Lord’s service in Chad, Africa as a maternity nurse for many years. She loved children and was very compassionate to everyone she came in contact with. After retiring, she lived in Edmonton for a few years and then returned to Westlock where she spent her remaining years. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Phyllis; nephews, Chuck, Jim, Jack, and Bill; nieces, Leona, Linda, Kelly, and Shirley as well as numerous cousins and close friends. Janet was predeceased by her parents; Mac and May MacDougall; sisters, Betty, Mary, Lilian, and Dorothy; brother John; nephews, Ron and Chris and niece Janet. Because of her missionary work in Africa she developed many friendships with people all over the world. A Memorial Service will be held at the Westlock Gospel Chapel on Saturday, September 14th, at 2:00 pm.
