HANDY, Fred – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday September 18, 2019 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn (1984). Cherished father of Doug Handy (Dawn Bacon) of Niagara Falls, Jaime Es (Gary Smith) of Niagara Falls and Tyler Handy (Sappho) of British Columbia. Loving grandfather of Blake and Mitchell Handy, Desarae, Colin and Landon Es and Godfather of Wendy Anne. He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Al Dommasch and Larry Dommasch, sisters-in-law Coby Dommasch, Lydia Sharp and Annie Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Harold Kardel, Art Dommasch, Conrad Sharp and sisters-in-law Pauline Dommasch and June Dommasch. He will be sadly missed by his many friends at Cataract Bowling and his Sunday golf group. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday 6 to 8 pm and Saturday 1 to 2 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
