Obituary of Deborah Ann Harvey
Deborah Ann Harvey, 67 of Clementsport, passed away suddenly on September 10, 2019 in her home. She was not alone. Her love of 44 years, Phillip and her son Justin were with her. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Kathleen (Forsythe) Carpenter.
Deborah loved her life with Phillip, their four children were her pride and joy, and then came along her five grandchildren whom she adored to be called “Grammy”. She had a passion for rocks of any kind, and when Phillip would arrive home from one of his lengthy work commitments, the first thing she’d ask is “did you bring me a rock”. Going for walks, drives or anywhere they went, you be sure Deborah was looking out for that one special rock. During her past 10 years of her life with her health concerns her husband Phillip proved to be her biggest, strongest and most cherished ROCK. Making jewelry, gardening and her love of reading history books (anything to do with world history) was her favorite hobbies. Phillip would say she was smarter than a History Teacher.
Morse, Sophia and Jo were her loving fur babies.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Phillip Harvey; sons Keith, Milton; Justin, Guinea; Matthew “Ben” (Danielle), Clementsport; daughter Kate (Curtis) Harvey-Dunn, Greywood; brothers Doug Carpenter, Dartmouth; David Carpenter, Medicine Hat, AB; Darryl (Michelle Jelfs) Carpenter, Bear River; sisters Anne White (Gerry Purcell), Dartmouth; Heather (Cliff), Clementsvale; grandchildren Emily, Rylie, Morgan, Keaton, Journey; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Deborah was predeceased by her sister Pamela and brother Michael.
A Memorial Celebration of Deborahs Life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Clementsport Legion, Branch 122. Memorial donations may be made to the I.W.K Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303,Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
