1914 – 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late David John Oake announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on September 7, 2019 at the age of 104. David was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Beaumont. He retired from fishing. David was predeceased by his wife Ella; parents, Archibald & Rebecca and brothers-Silas and Gerald. Left with fond and loving memories is his sons-Wilbert of Beaumont, Claude (Hope) of Robert’s Arm and his daughter Mavis of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn are his sisters Maggie and Melinda, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family and friends. Majors Larry & Phyllis Fudge will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Beaumont on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Beaumont. Pallbearers are his sons Wilbert and Claude, grandsons Keith Oake, David Tizzard, Raymond Tizzard and his granddaughter Judy Heath. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
