It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Bird Hewitt announce her passing at the age of 97 years.
Ann will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Beatrice (Larry) Carfantan; daughter in law, Betty Bird; son in law, Patrick Fraser; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her first husband, Leslie Bird; second husband, Loy Hewitt; son, Raymond Bird and daughter, Linda Fraser.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South Chapel, 4820 Meridian Street Edmonton. (To get to the Edmonton South Chapel, take 17th Street and 76 Avenue. 76 Avenue turns into Meridian Street. Go all the way to the dead end of the road and turn into Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Connelly-McKinely is located on the west side of the cemetery.)
