William (Billy) Arthur Cashin passed peacefully away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn his loss are his brother Jim (Catherine) and their children Marlene and Jim Jr.; his sister Marie (Mike Clay) and their children Kelly and Jim. Billy is also dearly remembered by his niece Belinda, and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Mayme and John Cashin; brothers: Pearce, Jackie, Bernard, Cal; sisters Edna, Verna and Bernadine. Visitation will take place from Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East, NL on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 between the hours of 7 – 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Father Andrew Henry White officiating. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port au Port East, NL will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
