VERKUYL, Wilhelmina: Wilhelmina Martina Verkuyl died peacefully in her sleep at home and went to her heavenly home to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord, at the age of 95. Beloved wife and best friend for 63 years to the late Martin Verkuyl. Loving mother of Tony and Brenda Verkuyl, Ida Ann (predeceased) and Hans Strikwerda, Mary Jane and Ben Hofstede, John and Gloria Verkuyl, and Connie Collins. Cherished sister of Andy and Rita Knibbe, William and Rea Knibbe and sister-in-law Wies Knibbe and Pauline Knibbe. Grandmother of 20; great Grandmother of 31. Predeceased by her family Emo, Myra, Anneke and Jan.
The family will receive friends at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 1-5 p.m. for visitation. On Monday August 19, 2019 a private family interment will be followed by a celebration of Wilhelmina’s life at 1 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 65 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock. Reception to follow.
