Tina Haarsma
September 16, 1940 to August 24, 2019
In loving memory, the family of Tina Haarsma announce her passing on August 24, 2019 at St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit, after a courageous battle with COPD and cancer. Tina was born to Frank and Nettie Peters in Blumenthal, SK. She will be greatly missed by her children: Jacqueline (Ray) Shewchuk, Ian (Rebecca) Hilbrander, Leona (Ken) Klassen, Selena (Vern) Doell, and Shane Haarsma, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tina’s celebration of life will be held at the Osler Mennonite Church, Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:30 pm. Her family would like to thank St. Paul’s Hospital staff for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, 3602 Millar Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7P 0B1. Due to family allergies, please do not wear perfume or cologne.
